One of the best examples of films set in a single location is Kaun? The suspense thriller starring Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee takes place at a home. It is a smart film that keeps escalating the tension leading up to a plot twist you won't see coming. Another film that takes place in a home is Bheja Fry. The comedy film starring Vinay Pathak, Rajay Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey and Milind Soman is largely shot in one flat. In spite of a small budget, the film manages to be one of the most delightful comedies.

Yaadein is a black-and-white film that follows a man who comes back to an empty home to find that his wife and son aren't there. He then goes on to reflect on his life and his regrets. Sunil Dutt produced, directed and starred in the film. Nargis Dutt was the only other actor in the film.
