The San Inazio Festival is currently in full swing at the Basque Block in downtown Boise.

Thousands have turned out so far for the three-day festival to celebrate Saint Ignatius of Loyola and the Basque culture within Boise.

Rolanda Parker, who is herself 6% Basque, spoke on why people come to San Inazio.

"Well, I think just to explore the Basque culture. I think it's a mystery to a lot of people," Parker said. "I'm a big 6% Basque and so I wanted to come and enjoy the festivities. Watching the children dance, it's been really wonderful, and the music."

Dances, performances and even professional handball matches have already taken place and more action is to come over the next day and a half. There's no admission fee to the festival; you can buy food and drinks while you're there.
