Reese Guzman of Kahului won the girls 15-18 flight of the King Auto Group 13-18 State Junior Championships on Wednesday at The Club at Hokulia on the Big Island.

Guzman, a rising senior at Maui High School and two-time Maui Interscholastic League champion, shot a 1-under 71 in the first round Tuesday and a 72 on Wednesday to win the title by two shots over Honolulu’s Kyung Eun Lee.

Miki Manta of Honolulu was third at 148, while Baldwin rising sophomore Lana Calibuso-Kwee (77-74–151) placed fourth and recent Baldwin graduate Jaelin Ishikawa (75-77–152) placed fifth.

In the girls 13-14 division, Haiku’s Summer Wong, a rising sophomore at Seabury Hall, finished fifth at 21-over 165 after rounds of 78 and 87. Honolulu’s Jennifer Seo took the title at 157.

Boys champions were Honolulu’s Joshua Chung (13-14) and Hilo’s Isaiah Kanno (15-18).
